This will be the season of renewal – where all the flower dreams I’ve had since planting my first seed in 2022 will come to life. Where I’ll have such an abundance of blooms that L+B bouquets will overflow into your own homes and lives.

We’re starting the season off by expanding our growing space pretty significantly! In the last two years, I have worked to maximize two smaller growing spaces attached to our barn but quickly felt limited. Tyler has expanded this space so I am not able to accommodate (3) 40-foot rows. Now I’ll have ample space for planting out all the new dahlia varieties that are headed my way this spring – more to come on this later – and other annual cut flowers.

So yes, the garden space itself has opened up my growing potential. I’ve spent hours dreaming and scheming how best to maximize this space so I’ll have an incredible amount of blooms through spring, summer, and fall.

So where can you find these flowers you ask?

For all my Central Wisconsin friends, this is for you! You can find bouquets stocked consistently with seasonal flowers at our roadside stand starting this spring and up until the autumn months. Envision high-quality, specialty cut flower bouquets wrapped in kraft paper and ribbon. The kind of freshness and joy that will make you look forward to hopping in the car, cruising right past the grocery store flowers, and making the peaceful country drive to our stand. I promise to make the drive worth it for you all!

Other possibilities include: pop-up sales and events within local businesses (think coffee shops and bakeries) and availability for bouquet ordering and pickups.

So in sum, 2024 will look like a lot of flowers here at Lake and Bloom. A lot of flowers that would to find their way into your hands. The best way to find a L+B bouquet this year will be here at our roadside stand, with the possibility of community pop-up events.
